Just got a 3700+ diego, asus A8N SLI Deluxe mobo, 2gb geil ultra DDR550, evga 7800gtx, and danger den water cooling stuff. Just got 2 put it together now

Get evga for the trade up program, they honor your purchase price up to 3 months after.

I ordered the eVGA 7800GTX from newegg on Thursday, got it yesterday along with my A8N-Sli Premium and AMD 3700. I received my Dell 2001FP on Wednesday also. I'm using corsair value ram for now cause I didn't budget for the 7800GTX. Originalo plan was for a 6800GT, and get another one down the road for an SLi setup. Figured I would save a few dollars by spending more now and already doubling the peformance of two 6800GTs.

If I already had a 6800 GT or equal card, I wouldn't buy a 7800GT. But this is a new build, and I don't build or upgrade often.

Have the BFG 7800GTX now, and its in the system although the HD's and OS aren't in yet (building slow due to youngin's in the house). Anyone else notice how incredibly close the card comes to not fitting in the Asus A8N SLI Premium? I think I had ~2mm of clearance with some of the capacitors in there. Yowza. I'll get pictures up later if anyone is interested.

Whew, too close. Thought I was going to have to buy another MB or something.

I might have gotten it if there was an AGP version, as I could use the extra speed over my 6800GT. Just going to wait for R520.

2 eVGA 7800GTX's, DFI nf4 SLI-D, running off an X2 4200+ OC'd to 2600. Works rather well.
