I must admit I'm not really affected by it. My salary remains fixed (just got a small raise actually)... the only time I bitch a little is that I pay $3-4 extra when I fill up my tank.

My company stock has been going down a little and now it's almost back up to what it used to be in back last november.

I try to conserve by not going out as much, but I think it's more psychological since all consumers are psychologically affected by it.

I guess it helps that I'm only 26 without family to support.

I think we're all affected in some way, but I wouldn't say it has had a significant impact on me.

As of now unaffected other than feeling a little wallet crunch due to higher prices. That could change in an instant though because I'm a contractor at my job, so they could dump my ass any time they want. They will likely make me permanent though, which isn't really a good thing. The wage for a permanent employee is about 15% LESS than my current contractor's wage, which is going to hurt big time when it happens.

Dairy has gone up a bit... string cheese had been $5 per package, then suddenly it went up to nearly $6.50, milk went up... sucks when your kids go through a few gallons per week.

If your wages remain stagnant or only increase 2 or 3%, then you are feeling it through higher prices. Your purchasing power is decreasing. Whether or not it has made a significant impact on your life yet is up to you to determine.

Fiance and I just accepted new jobs. We are looking at a gross wage increase of roughly 75%. This does mean I'll be leaving the safety of a state job, but it doesn't seem so secure as we've had lots of people get laid off around here within the last year or two. If my job is going to have private sector volatility, I want private sector pay.

Hasn't affected me to much. I don't buy gas enough to be too worried with the prices, only buy groceries for me, and my bills haven't really gone up. Sadly my savings account has been less appealing since the interest rate cuts. Although those have not made me want to spend anymore money.

My Bills have not risen, though I recently took a pay cut so that affected my some. Combined with the rising cost of goods. I wouldn't say I am in panic mode over it, just wishing things were cheap like they used to be.

I've actually been doing better as my variable student loan rates have decreased significantly over the past year as the Fed keeps cutting and cutting.

Prices everywhere are rising, sure, but I got a big raise last year that makes it a non-issue.

As a college kid groceries are affecting me a LOT lately. I'm close enough to campus to walk every day so gas isn't as big of a concern, but food prices are crazy. If I don't pace myself I can go through a gallon of milk in 2 days by myself.

$3-$4 extra per tank?
got a bike or something? Even then it'd still be more it seems. Interesting...

If gas were $2/gallon, it'd cost me about $34 to fill up from empty. Right now, filling up from empty @ $3.25/gallon it costs me about $55... thus why I never fill up completely because I know the gas prices are constantly changing now and I hope I just stumble upon a lower gas cost before I burn through what I put into the tank (usually fill up about halfway).

So far my family is OK. Soon we'll have a 3 month emergency fund saved up in case one of us is fired/laid off.

My wife and I remain largely unaffected, though the uncertainty in the economy has made our spending a bit more conservative. She's a tenured teacher so things would have to get much, much worse for her to lose her job. I'm in the architecture industry and last year was our best year ever.

I recently bought a new bike to commute to work with..part of the reason being to stay more healthy, but also because the money I'd save on gas would help the bike pay for itself (I figure I'm saving about $4 in gas per 15 mile round-trip).
