Actually, mine is for more DSL connection. It uses the PPPoE protocol, therefore you still have to press a "connect" button even though it's pretty much instantaneous.

BTW: That connection in the corner is actually my DSL. It is always-on, but I kinda like seeing when the modem is sending and recieving, esp. when webpages are slow to respond. Under windows 2000 it is possible to monitor network connections in the system tray (i dont know about 9x)
Ok heres my Win 2k desktop and my other desktop Now mind you, my whistler desktop is pretty plain right now, and my beos, is my beos. . . and my win 98se's arnt very fancy either
