What are those ... $400 apiece? I'm glad I don't have to buy tires that size. For me over $90 is high.

Cheaper to use the clips that hold the bottom of the blind to the door. If I had been invited to one of your parties I could have told you.

Its a 5 ft long faux wood blind... the bottom clips do very little...

I purchased a 1/4 TRS -> XLR from monoprice in about the same length. I'm actually pretty impressed with the quality of it.

I just need the XLR end. I'm going to frankenstein together a new connection for an external power supply. If it works, its going to be a huge headache saver.

yeah, you might be right... the clips at the bottom were flimsy, broke off once, I tightened it as much as I could but they keep banging...

depending on how this goes, I might take you up on that. Its for some side project the owner has going. I was handed a power supply and a blade server looking thing that I'm not sure what its supposed to do.

Spent a couple hours ripping my hair out trying to get the stupid thing working, computer would refuse to POST with the card installed in any PCI-E slot. Eventually tried upgrading the BIOS on my motherboard and that got it working, according to the release notes looks like ASUS improved PCI-E device compatibility in the latest version.

Pretty slick being able to watch and record TV on the desktop.

Try dealing with these things in 2005. It was so picky and I finally got it working by installing 3 different software apps/addons just to get WINTV to work. Then in '08 I upgraded to the WinTV-HVR 1850 and put it away for a while. A few years later now I try to get it installed again and it says I need a previous valid disc of WINTV to even use the latest one they offer. I bought the card from Newegg and don't believe I ever received a WINTV disc (I keep everything). Did you guys buy WINTV to work with it? None of the other freebies out there make it easy.

Who needs WinTV? Just install the drivers and use it with Windows Media Center or one of the many other choices for free DVR software.
