WReX - just bought it a few weeks ago. This pic was taken the day I bought it from the top of Crown Point in the Columbia River Gorge, and was before I got it all detailed up (can't post those pics from work). Pending mods: power moonroof, exhaust, tinted windows, thinking about a 1" drop, and wheels (haven't yet decided).

Sorta... still saving up for my own bike. Don't wanna finance it... Los Angeles is probably one of the worst places to be riding a motorcycle... considering how many idiots are driving around.

Sorta... still saving up for my own bike. Don't wanna finance it... Los Angeles is probably one of the worst places to be riding a motorcycle... considering how many idiots are driving around.

Luckily I don't ride around as many of the idiots are you'd expect by living in LA. I'm actually in North LA (Valencia area) so I've got a million canyons to go riding in that snake from here to palmdale on the east, gorman to the north, and ojia to the west. I've gone on rides that as soon as I've hit some canyons (literally 3-5 miles from here), I've seen two cars the rest of the trip. The most traffic I hit is when I take the 5 back from the Gorman/Frasier park area to home, but that stretch isn't a commuter stretch so it typically flows and there haven't been many idiots around (and plenty of lanes to give them a wide berth when they are).

I think if I lived closer to LA proper (westside or even north OC), I'd sell my bikes for the reason you mentioned

Haha... must be nice riding up there then... the closest i'll get to canyon riding is trying to avoid the hundreds of cars that cut me off. :|
