Ooh, if possible any pics of the setup? Those acculines seem to be pretty decent for their price, but i havent seen in-home pictures of them...

How is that rhythmik kit working for you?

Those acculines are qiute nice however it doesn't have the warmth i'm looking for.
The detail in upper end is quite good for an inexpensive speaker.
As for the Rythmik, i love it!
Originally I had a 12" shiva (about 1.5 cubic foot box) coupled with a parts express 250 watt amp (in its own enclosure)The box is about 13x13x22" high including the legs wrapped in 1/4 birch ply. It is still unstained but looks beautiful.

I had to remove the shiva and do some surgery on the baffle since teh new woofer didn't fit.
The end result is quite breath taking. Lots of low end i've been missing from movies and music with no boom at all. SQ is excellent.

OMG GET OUT OF HEER blu raii fan.
LOL, I love how they call you a Blu-Ray fan, yet you have 2 HD-DVD players and HD-DVD titles.
I don't even have one HD player.

Those Onkyo sets look goldish looking, weird.

The only reason I got into HD DVD was because of Transformers...I will alway prefer blu ray over HD DVD but I won't miss out on watching movies I want to see in High def...besides, did you notice how much I paid for my players?

the onkyo stuff is actually all silver...must be the flash/lighting that is causing the color to look different...

Yeah, in your bedroom the speakers look gold, so does the receiver.
I got pretty much the 7.1 equivalent of that and I really like it for movies, but I have to do movies in short bursts because the sub lacks in real big boomy bass and at times with the DD soundtracks it really pounds the sub hard and one or two times the coil assembly has hit the magnet! So I am putting the money for a BIC H100 in my checking account so I can get it off eBay tomorrow. Then upgrading to these: http://shop1.outpost.com/product/4005092
Just for the R/L now, and maybe these for the surround, I already have 2 for my computer 2.0 system and they sound great: Polk R150s

not sure if you would consider them, but in today's Dallas Fry's ad, they have the R300 for $80/pair...is there a Fry's near you?

Gonna return the Acculines and try something else?

How do you have the wires hidden on your bedroom setup? I'm looking for a way to mount a LCD in a room without running the wires in the wall, but need a way to hide them.

ah, i didnt know if you were still within the return period. av123 speakers seem to be regarded as having a warmer midrange/midbass.

Blayze: It seems like he uses wire channels to hide the wires. Similar to what you can find here perhaps.

Hes using a cover

and I painted the cover to match the paint on the wall...the cover was white and it didn't look have bad since it matched the baseboard and the crown molding, but it came it out pretty sweet (at least the wife thought it did)....

May i ask why 2 bluray players? do you really watch movies in the bedroom when you have a beautiful tv in the living room?

Thanks...the wife would rather watch movies in the bedroom...after two weeks of lugging my PS3 back and forth between the master bedroom upstairs and living room downstairs, I got the green light to buy another PS3 during BF...

got the 40GB from frys for $399 w/ 4 extra movies (hellboy, FF2, Underworld and 300), the 5 mail in rebate movies, Spidey 3 in the box and the blue tooth remote. I already had 300, Underworld and FF2, so I was able to sell them for $80...

Yes, something like 12x12

I dont even have them powered right now - the 5.1 Klipsch computer speakers are enough to piss of the neighbors

I LOVE Klipsch

heeh, wait till you hear the Klipschorn. I heard the Klipschorns once and they were being powered by a paltry 8 Watt SET and it was incredibly dynamic. Completely different animal than the promedia, synergy, and reference lines. The klipschorns would easily be able to blow away your neighbors and do so with, perhaps 1 watt of power.

Nice! Seems like you have put quite a bit into your display and subwooferage Time to get your mains to match the output of the subwoofers?
