I have been able to reach 102dB before my ears said no more!
Off to a movie now, I will add pics soon...
Had some updated:
Added:
Anthem PVA2 on Front Channels
Toshiba HD-A2 (yea, Blu-ray is the future, but at $100 with 5 free HDDVD, I could not pass!)
DVD-1920 replaced with DVD-2930
DVD-2930CI Broke, replaced with DVD-2910CI
DVD-2910CI has issues, will replace with DVD-2500BDCI when it gets in
Now I need to figure out how to convert HDMI only from 2500BDCI to Coax Audio and HDMI Video...
Built New stand from Hard Maple and Slate Tile
Probably the last upgrades for a while...baby one on the way!

Here it is.
To put this in perspective, that's a 55" KDS-55A3000. Other gear in the photo that might not be immediately recognizable:
1. Sony STR-DA2400ES receiver
2. PSB Image T65s (I forgot to remove the grills for the photo, sorry)
The side surrounds (not pictured) are Infinity RS5 towers. The wall-mounted rear surrounds (also not pictured) are Polk RT25s. Still no center (looking for a cheap C60) or subwoofer (planning on getting an ED A2-300).
I'm mostly done with the setup, but do have a few things I want to add in the future:
1. The aforementioned sub and center.
2. A universal remote (I'm expecting a Harmony One for Chanukah).
3. Uplighting for the back of the TV - preferably a 6500k white led strip.
4. A DVD/BR-D streamer or mega changer (the PS3 sucks for home theater, IMHO).
It's really hard for me to justify dropping $60-$70 on one of those, even though they fit the bill perfectly.Originally posted by: iRONic
I use this ideal-lume backlighting fixture.
Make your own then. 6500k lamps are cheap.Originally posted by: erwos
