Ok, let me see if I can help you out.

The first thing I'd do is put your AVR where your PS3 is, and put your PS3 on top of your stand. That in itself will hide a lot of the wires. Next, swap the places with your Wii and keyboard, keyboard on top. After that, if you can, drill a hole in your wall behind your center speaker and fish the speaker wire down behind your stand. And finally, get some flat HDMI cables (regular HDMI may work too) and install a wire conduit to conceal the wires going from your TV to your AVR. I'd also paint the molding the same color as your walls to blend it in more. If you'd like, you can also run those cables (HDMI) through the wall, but you'll need to have an electrician install the power box behind your TV because you cannot run the power cord inside the wall. This is a cleaner but more expensive solution, so I'd recommend the wire conduit instead. It will still look nice. And will look 100x cleaner than what you have right now.

Don't get me wrong, you've got a nice set up. But if you invest some time and a little extra money (~$20-$30), your set up will look MUCH nicer.

I disagree, the amplification should always be on top, regarless of what else is in your system. This is because it cannot have it's vents obstructed, it needs to stay cool .

 30k$ is pocket change to some of the folks in OT that make an average annual salary of 150k$

it is most definitely not pocket change, even for someone who makes 150k

Sure it is, they just have not not have kids and hold out 1 more year on the new car

You don't know what pocket change means do you?

New PC speakers. Replacing some Av123 X-LS (which are really too big) with some Ascend Acoustics HTM-200 SEs. Just got em and haven't listened that much but so far I've been very impressed with the Ascends.

Once I've gotten all my new stuff set up I'll post real pics, also replacing the X-Sub with a 10" Hsu and replacing a Marantz reciever thats having a few problems with a Denon 1709.

Sure do, it means "a small or unimportant amount of money". Of course, the second definition is the literal definition of the phrase.

All the Av123 speakers (including the sub) are getting sold to a coworker for a modest living room HT. I've been wanting smaller speakers and a bigger sub for my PC so works out perfect for me. He's never had TV speakers any better than whats built into the TV so works out perfect for him too.

The Hsu is the VTF-1.

I'm also selling him my Marantz SR-5400 since he needs a reciever as well. I don't really want to since I'll be sidegrading at best from it, but the Denon I'm getting at least has Audyssey plus the volume control on the Marantz was shot which was really annoying.

Y'know, most of us don't actually belong to every forum on the internet. Perhaps you could upload the photos to imageshack?

Also, you need a sub. A Dayton RS390 would work well; two RS390s would work better. Just build the requisite MDF box (it's not difficult), plug it into a pro power amplifier - say, a Tapco J1800, though just about any new or used pro amp will do - and enjoy.

Sure, especially if there wasn't any inherent need to buy a brand new vehicle. Some people buy new cars every 5 years. Make that every 6 years, and the extra money...

Heck, I'd buy a 4k$ used car and spent the balance 16k$ on my stereo without blinking an eye and I'd make less than 70k$. of course if i did that, I'd upload new pictures
