Really? Cool! I rarely see any tropic orange VW's. When the dealer called me to say one had arrived he said it was black on black (what I originally wanted). I got to the dealer and the salesman told me he was mistaken and it was orange. I thought, orange? Pfffffft! Then I saw it in person and really liked it. You see plenty of silver or red or black but orange isn't too common. I think it's a love/hate thing. My friends all hate it but I have had plenty of compliments on the color and usually from women.

I don't think I'll ever mod a car again. As a teenager I had about $9500 invested in my old '70 Nova SS muscle car and it was fast (in a straight line) but in the end I sold it for about $2500 only a few years later.

Are you on VW Vortex forums? I haven't visited there in ages.

ah your's is a tropic orange. mine's officially called flash red. but i think they are the same color (or very similar)
yea im on VWVortex also. but im more of a lurker there. more so than here
i hear ya on the modding thing. i got bit by the mod bug...spent close to $4K...and have forced myself to stop (for now). I really wanna get a SC though...dont know if thats a good idea anymore since my car has about 85K miles on it right now

Had a B18C engine (from an Integra GSR), H&R Coilovers, 17" Konig GT-Rs, full body kit, etc (probably rice to all of you... but this was about 1998 so the term rice wasnt really around, nor was the plethora of look fast/go slow cars like there is now). Anyways, this got stolen about a week after I had it pretty much finished with a fresh stereo install and new paint.... Dang it.
