It appears that my ASUS A7N8X post reporter (the sultry female voice that tells me "POST has completed, booting from OS") has gone berserk.
Every time I boot my computer after shutting it down completely, she starts yelling "No CPU detected, No CPU detected" over and over. Even though she has been disabled! If I shut down and restart again quickly, she stops with her nagging.
Even when she is yelling the computer boots normally, no error messages or anything. She just won't stop her yelling!
Is this just a glitch? Anyone else experience it? Perhaps a BIOS revision might cure it? I generally leave my CPU on 24/7 so it really isn't too big a deal, but I'd still like a solution...
Thanks!
