Congrats to me for passing a million and being in the top 100 in f@h. Took almost six and a half years to reach and with about 50% done since december '09.

PrimeGrid tried hijacking my computers...

I had set up my preferences in Primegrid to only crunch gpu after the last race.. i had two setting.. one for ATI cards(work setting) and one for nVidia cards(home setting).

I was wondering why i was still getting cpu wu... cheched my setting.. and the home and work settings were gone... cpu was checked...

and when i tried unchecking the the Proth Prime Search (Sieve), not only did it not do that, but it also added Proth Prime Search (LLR), Sophie Germain Prime Search (LLR), and The Riesel Problem (LLR).

now i'm no slouch and i know my way around a computer... somethings up...

Reached the 10,000,000 plateau for Folding @ Home thanks to a recently built i7 2600k SandyBridge o/c at 4.1ghz running smp bigadv and a Zotac 470 gpu chipping in as well.

@dajeepster: Happened to me too some time ago - must have been a server-end error - probably the files specifiing which projects to crunch and what to use got corrupted ...

i think it's happening to all the projects... I'm seeing it on all the projects that use boinc that does both cpu and gpu crunching... it's not project specific. Seen it on milkeyway, collatz and primegrid... looks like it's a boinc issue. D:

I think we need to work on efficiency and share PPD/W info to give us the best chance of keeping more rigs online. What do you guys think? Should I start a thread?

What version of BOINC are you using?

It's not the actual boinc software that is the issue... it's your personal preferences that are listed under your profile in each project that you belong too.

but i'm using the latest and greatest released boinc (6.10.58 i think)
