*Edit: simplified message
System specs:
Abit AT7-Max
1x 512MB Pc2700
Geforce Ti4400 AGP
SGI 1600SW (w/ dvi adapter box)
The PSU switch got bumped off when the system was running. It would not POST (and no errors) when I turned it back on. After discharging the CMOS and reseating the memory and Ti4400, I occasionally get a long beep followed by two quick ones, which appears to indicate a video error. After replacing the Ti4400 with a Ti200, I get a positive POST beep, but still no video display (the LED on the monitor remains yellow/idle, and it displays "no sync detected"). The machine also appears to not continue booting. I'm assuming it's stuck in the BIOS menu.
How could the PSU turning off and on fry my video card? Would it just be the card, or is the mobo damaged too? Could it have affected my monitor as well?
