you make two black and white photocopies of your current DL. next you cut out the number of the date that you would want to change. I.E. if you were born in 1979 and want to be born in 1977, cut out of the photocopy all of the BD information. like 11-20-1979. cut off the last nine, and using the other photocopy, cut out a single 7. you will have two pieces of paper. one would say 11-20-197 and the other would be just a 7. lay these paper numbers exactly over the numbers you want to change. The next step is a little tricky and may take some practice. get some of the clear adhesive sheets of lamination, or you can some of the wide, clear packing tape you can get at any convenience store. cut out a piece slightly larger than the ID. With the ID laying flat, and the paper numbers resting on top of your real ID, press the tape down onto the ID, sandwiching the letters. Now peel the tape off of the ID (make sure it wasnt pressed too hard, or you wont be able to pull it off. Only the paper numbers will be on the tape. Now, go to your sink, and using hot water, run the tape under it, and once the paper gets wet, rub it gradually off with your fingers. the black numbers will stay on the tape, but the paper will be gone! allow the tape to dry (usually like 5 minutes). Now you can use a crayon of the matching background color on your real ID, mark over the number you want to replace. in this case, it is a 9. if your background color is white, use a white crayon. You dont have to smear too much on, only enough to disguise the numeral. Now, take your dried tape, and lay it in place, over the letters. Your 9 should now be a seven. This works best with states that use black and white numbers. This is all for novelty purposes only. I hope it helps. It all makes sense once you try it. This could be illegal where you live as it is considered tampering with an ID. Take care.
