Just do the online result browser and it will tell you the true score.

Actually, its b/c 3dmark2k3 only optimizes for PS 1.4 (vaporware), while the GF4 series support PS 1.3. Actual DX 9 features are limited to something like 2 of 11 tests in GT4, however, a superficially high value is assigned to it.

Its a broken benchmark.

My 2003 score was only around 3000. My 2001 score is 13000. My 2001 score seems pretty good for my system while my 2003 score seems much lower than it ought to be. Only ran it once, maybe I need to mess around with it more.

I ran the bench with my xp2100 and 4200 ganinward golden. Got 1460

Ran the bench with my xp2100 @ 2800 speed and got 1513. Not much gain for a 500mhz increase in cpu speed.

Anyone notice a trend here?.

With the original 3dmark, PC's kept improving until finally with the right stuff you could crack 10,000.
Then, once most video card makers could hit 10,000, out comes 3dm2k1.
All those cards that hit 10k, now struggled to hit 2k-4k, and 10k seemed impossible.
But, a few cards later, and now most video cards can hit 10k+. (overclocked Ti200 and ATi 8500, or above).
So of course here comes 3dmark 2003, and scores drop again to 2k-4k range.
Look for the next version of 3dmark short after you can hit 10k with 2003.

i hate to drag this up again, but why is it that the demos don't look better than 2k1SE, but run hella slower? I mean the nature demo seems the same quality except for the water.

not bad, but I thought that the Nforce2 was supposed to have better audio processing than that! My Hercules GametheaterXP is getting much higher FPS and I always thought Nforce2 was better
