Edit- Ok, so I reinstalled the drivers and ran Vantage with SLi disabled....score....P5025 (same as with SLi enabled).

Edit2- So, up until now, i have been hitting "run benchmark" and then leaving the room (Son wouldnt let me miss the latest Higglytown). Anyhow, so now i have sat down to watch and...MAN is something WRONG! In the first becnhmark, the water goes TOTALLY NUTS. As in, by the time she makes it past the camera, the waves are so big they fill the entire scene......for the rest of that benchmark. All i see is the side of a wave for the entire first benchmark. Other oddities.....The Flag test...yeah, them flags are stuck in the shape of a sphere and they just sit there...like spheres stuck to the flag poles. What is goin on here?

lol, it is based on Windows 2000 code which was in development since 1997. XP is almost 11 years old.

Kyle. Enable SLI in your driver. 5xxx is a score for a single 8800GTX most likely.
I did the same exact thing with my 9800GTX's. Forgot to enable SLI in the driver and got like 5600 ish. Just double check it.

EDIT: Ah, yes, you have some other probs going on there. Sorry, I reread your edits.
Uninstall your currents drivers and use Driver Cleaner. Follow directions supplied with it.
Then reinstall the latest WHQL drivers for your cards/OS.

But i agree with someone above, those graphics had nice "effects" but it seems the quality is lacking a lot. Does not automatically scream DX10 to me. More like DX8? Maybe there is a big difference from the different settings, but i guess the only real way to tell is to one take a screenshot of with all the settings in "Test Options" to max.

Oh I had SLi enabled...checked that first Anyway, I downloaded the new Beta drivers and my score jumped to P8453...much better

really tempted to get a another GTS and run both in SLI But then i dont have any performance problems in ANY game (except crysis ) So it looks like that 8800 single get 6000ish scores and SLI 9000ish.

What monsters get those 13k+ scores? Darn..you get hardware and two months later its already outdated The 8800 GTS is now half what it cost in february when i built.

depends, i'd say

for me that $20 is well spent; i have a few games that cost a LOT more and lie on a shelf covered in Dust. i will use this benchmark till the next one

i guess the Devs feel they deserve money for their work and the half-serious benchmarker will also feel it is worth it; for me it is worth it,

i just wish i had a corporation to back me that spent $500 for the Big license and would give me a freebie
But then it is only a New $20 bill .. same as the "old $50 bill" - last year - and i see it as a bargain even though i am currently broke
