It should be higher. Your system has nothing to do with your score, just your video card. Make sure you are running the benchmark at defaults of 1024x768 with no AA/AF, and make sure that your AF/AA is set to application preference in your ATI control panel.

Your right. I had AFx16 and AAx6 enabled through the Control Panel. But I have a problem. I turned everything to application pref. and now 3D3005 says that I don't have a video card capable of running any of the tests. But it still shows that I have a Radeon9800P. This sounds bad. Whats up?

Something else to add. 3DMark 2003 and 2001 say the same thing. That I don't have a video card that supports and of the features needed. And, when I go to properties and click settings then advanced. I get the blue screen, with the memory dump. Everytime. Is my Radeon dead?

uninstall all ATI software (catalyst, control panel/center, driver). reinstall drivers and control center, reinstall DX 9.0c. uninstall 3dmark. reinstall it. it sounds like a driver problem to me.

i only get 4400 somehting with a gt clocked to ultra speeds.....at first i got 3500!!! and i was like thats wrong...had 8xaf enabled! turned it off but not much improvement

This benchmark made me consider upgrading. Im still satisfied w/ my gaming experience but I'm thinking about upgrading a bit.

My specs: AthlonXP 2500+ @3000+, EPOX 8RDA3G (nforce2 ultra), 512mb DDR400, FX5900xt @ 5900U speed.

I was just considering on upgrading my RAM but im now thinking of upgrading my videocard. I only have one choice on either another stick of 512mb RAM or a videocard upgrade. I play doom3, sims2, farcry, nba live, etc. So what do you guys think?

i wouldn't advise anyone to upgrade UNTIL we see what cards do Half-Life 2 well. It's only about 1-2 months away.

773 on my 5700 Ultra, clocked at 510/936. I broke 4k in 3dmark03 with this card, so i'm hoping nVidia gets a nice driver out soon I want FPS decent enough to enjoy the cool benchies!

Edit: The second score may look strange, but the card is installed in a dual Xeon (Prestonia 2.0Ghz) system, so I think that that affected the results.
