off topic, but someone mentioned that the ati cards dont run 05 well because 05 is meant for Dx9c cards, 6xxx series. also, all the high scores for 3dmark05 were by 6800's, (most in SLI) and an x850 cant break 8k.

this shows that 6xxx series will be better for future games, showing that SM3.0 is really worth it. if you upgrade often, unlike me, it isnt a big deal though (remember that!)

so yeah, sorry for being off topic, but yeah....if you dont agree with me, thats ok.

anyways, i got 3200 with a leadtek 6600gt (NOT oced at all) 2.8ghzP4 with HT, 512 pc2700 ram, yeah...300watt PSU...lol...but its a good one. 76.10 drivers

Well, two against one never was a fair fight. I think when comparing apples to apples the ATI cards come out on top in 3DMark05. Don't know about SM3.0 being really worth it except for the HDR effects in FarCry. Future games will use it, but I'll bet the 6800 series will be butt slow by then anyway.
