With latest Catalyst 5.4 driver (just downloaded today from ATI site):

The score's gone down approx. 3% from last Catalyst 5.3. Go figure!

score 3022 with an XFX 6600GT AGP @ stock 500/1000
side question, this is my first time running this software, how the heck is 3dMark05 supposed to represent current & near future games when the second to last test the fps was bouncing back & forth between 0 and 1?!!
not too shabby, considering a friend of mine, with a AXP system (Athlon XP 3200 @ 2.3ghz, 1.5Gb DDR400 6800Ultra) and his ULtra weighing in at 464Mhz core, 1.21Ghz mem only posted a 5410 score
2875 (I post 2700) With 9800 Pro@412-370 (BBA R350)
On an Athlon XP Thoroughbred B@2200 (200x11) Cas 2-3-3-8 NForce2 MSI Platinum
TEXTURE QUALITY HIGH (IN CATALYST 3D OPTIONS).
Catalyst 5.3, NForce 5.1
Is that the deafault quality in the drivers? And is that what everyone is using? Because I'm sure I can brealk 3000 if I lower the IQ, but I consider that cheating, and I would not play games with lowered quality anyway.
both on drivers 71.68 or whatever was just released
old and busted (fx5200 128mb 64bit): 249 - no joke
new hotness (xfx 6600gt 500/1000): 3338
new hotness having fun (oc 533/1100 stock cooling): 3583
yeah i didn't bother to close programs or reboot, just wanted to ballpark a number =D
