Could probably bust 6k with a fresh reboot and nothing running in the taskbar/system tray. Strange thing I noticed: 3DMock detected my GPU speed as 300MHz. That's the 2D speed of the card, 3D clock speed is 450MHz... Oh well.
Im embarassed to even post my score. I dont see how it could be so low with how my system is optimized. I have no programs running and a lot of windows BS is disabled. Are you guys lying about your scores or what?(just kidding) My system is just as good as some of the others and am getting way less of a score then theirs. Whats the deal? Im running the latest 3dMark'03 and 4.1 cats on a fresh install of XP. Anyways my score was 3652 and Im pretty damn pissed because Vsync was off and still I get that low score. Somebody please help me! lol
Is it possible that it could be my hard drive? Its pretty much new but I just needed one right away at the time I got it but its a 40gb maxtor with a 2mb buffer. If I got a 36gb Raptor would the score increase to the 5k+ it should be at or is something seriously wrong with my system? I just saw a post with someone getting past my score with a 9600 Pro, what is going on here?
I dont trust scores from FX cards that arent running FM approved drivers. 3d03 sucks anyway. Watercooling in progress, hope to push the 9800 pro and 2500+ much much higher.
I have a question on the sound tests, My results say "not supported". Is that a hardware limitation or is there something else that doesnt let me run them?
lol...........i dont stay there for long tho!!!! i know its the same core as the 9700 and has the same heat sink..........but im a wimp....i darent keep it there for long !!!!
haha my CPU REALLY sucks, but I read somewhere that 3dmark is mostly all GPU related, is this true? and if so, does overclocking give substantial performance boosts with adequate cooling?
