S&W 686 is awesome. Next best thing to a Python. Mmmm love that oily *snick snick* of the hammer being cocked and the cylinder rotating.
Ruger SP101 is also a nice compact revolver (5 shot .357) that makes a great CCW piece.
Did somebody say Python?

just out of curiosity, how much are these m4's and other rifles costing you guys?
Looks like an expensive hobby. I probably can't afford any, I'm knee deep in student loans. :\
If I part it out and build it myself - around $750 or so, for the parts I prefer at least.
Buying a new one in a store - $800-900 for a bushmaster/RRA/DPMS, and about $1000 and up for a Colt.

Bushmaster > Colt.
Of all the AR15 brands, the Bushmaster XM15E2S is the most, if not exactly, identical to the service rifle. Except for the 1:9 barrel instead of the 1:7 barrel to fire both 62gr and 55gr exceptionally well. Other than that, it's more exact than Colts own AR-15, down to the proper greenish gray color on the stock, the correct phosphate coating that smells like a book of matches every time you drop the bolt, etc.
Probably had 1000 rds in my new XM15 by now, never a single problem. I bend up the front of the feed lips on the mags before I even fired it the first time. Common problem with AR15/M16 mags where the front of the round is held too low such that the bolt jams the bottom edge of the case mouth into the front edge of the magazine and flips the rounds end over end into the chamber.
Accurate out of the box too. When I battled sighted for 300 yards with a 25 yard sight with iron sights, I emptied a 30 rd mag, and there was only a single hole the size of a quarter dollar coin

I should have picked up one of those for $1200 when I had the chance. Was just like that one, but in the lustery satin nickel finish with the smooth glassy petrified wood looking grips. Pure sex. *snick snick* Rolex what?
Edit: like this http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=71770753 but it was a more dull and satin look and I think it was an Elite. Wish I picked it up
