My old comp was a Celeron 333 that ran at 416 with a cheap heatsink. It posted once at 450, but never did it again.
I got my Athlon (550 core, week 44 of '99) to post and boot to windows at 733 by upping the fsb to 133 and upping the voltage to 1.85. It froze once in windows though. It was stable enough to do a few benchmarks at 700. However, at such high fsb speeds, my NIC stops working. It gives up once I go ever 110mhz. I'm operating it at 600 until I get my gfd. Then I'm going to find out how stable 700 really is.
