'84 Datsun Nissan Sentra - family bought it used around '88 and this is the car I took after I graduated college
'86 Mercury Cougar - first car I bought myself. Bought it used not too long after I graduated college in '91
'92 Ford Mustang GT - when the Cougar turned out to be a major lemon, bought this car because the credit union was running a special with local car dealers. However, I was majorly misquoted on the insurance and couldn't really afford the car
'92 Ford Taurus - when I realised I couldn't afford the insurance on the Mustang, went back to the dealer and worked out a 2 year lease on this car
'94 Chrysler LeBaron convertible - after the lease was up on the Taurus, decided to try the convertible route
'97 Chrysler Sebring convertible - got tired of the LeBaron, so I upgraded
'00 Dodge Dakota quad cab - got tired of having to park the Sebring at the end of the driveway in the winter because the car couldn't make it up whenever it snowed. Also wanted to try a truck on for size for hauling duties.
'02 Audi A6 - was only leasing the Dakota, and decided that a truck wasn't practical as a daily driver. Wanted to see how the other half lived, so I shopped for something higher end
'00 Ford Ranger - missed having a truck for hauling duties, so I bought this used to sit in the garage next to the car and perform weekend hauling duties
'05 Volvo S60R - lease was up on the A6. This is the car I wanted to buy when I bought the A6, but it was not available yet at the time. Kind of wanted the Lexus GS but couldn't justify spending the extra $10k.
