4.6GHz at 1.95v, dat Haswell
Well, I remounted my block and got a decent drop in temperatures even with a tad more voltage. Still, the stuff that comes preapplied to these Corsair H100i's must not be all that bad to allow for 5.0GHz on an SB-E.
5.1GHz
BTW...Grooveriding, what kind of voltage do you have to run at 5GHz?
Same here, I've never tested for any long term stability over 4.8. Just gave it some slight voltage bumps for 4.9, 5.0 and then 5.1 for benches and it kept working so i went with it, don't plan on running it there for any length of time anyway. I did try 5.2 using that same mindset though and it balked, crashed about halfway through the bench. I would probably have to resort to disabling C states and such to go any further.I have a pretty nice chip, it does 4.8 @ 1.38, which is really good for SB-E. I can't say that the 5ghz is stable though, never tried Linx on it, etc.
Thanks. Just doing my part to warm the planet!Nice power guzzler

Yeah, I was thinking about kludging up my very own coal fired turbine, as most of our electricity comes from hydro. While it does a great job of killing off salmon, it's not so great for leaving a Sasquatch-style carbon footprint. You could do better, but it was a good effort.
