Trip down memory lane ...

Intel 80882 @ 8 MHz - i don't remember when
AMD 80386 @ 40 - 1993
AMD 80486 @ 100 - 1994
Intel P 150 @ 166 (my first o'ced system) - 1995
Intel P 200 @ 227 (my brother cpu was untill last Christmas) - 1996
Intel P ii 233 @ 293 (on an Abit LX) - 1997
Intel P ii 350 @ 412 (unlocked CPU) - 1998
Intel P ii 300 SL2YK @ 512 (best oc'ed cpu i've ever had) - 1999
Intel P iii 450 @ 600 - 1999 (now used by a friend)
Intel P iii 550e @ 825 (now used by my brothers) - 2000
Intel P iii 650e @ 962 (works fine at 975 but prefer cas 2) - 2000

That makes it 6 cpu's and 4 motherboards in the last 3 years !! I think i need an upgrade, maybe its time to go back to AMD ?

Starting way back in 1997
K6-233, Ran way too hot 3.5 Vdc core?
K6-300, K6-350, K6-400,
Celeron 366 Slot 1 (Why did I go to this? Wanted Cheap FPU for games)
Celeron 400 PPGA, Celeron 433, Celeron 500, Celeron II 566 (whew)

Current:
PIII 667, Athlon T-Bird 750, and Celeron 400...

Future?

Athlon Tbird 1.2 Ghz is looking real good, wondering about heat problems though.

hmmm.... I'm 21 but already been thru some stuff

Apple 2c (got it 1989, still got it)
Commodore 64 (1990)
i486 DX-33 (1992)
AMD486 DX2-66 (1993)
P75 (1995)
P100 (1996)
P166 ( 1997 grabbed this used mb and chip from a friend... without telling him... he was eventually silenced with a couple of pizzas)
PII400@500 (1998)
AMDK6-2 450 (1998 my dads, but i've got it running as internet gateway and RC5 cruncher)
PowerMac 6400 (1999 a little excursion to unknown territory... makes a decent FTP server anyways)
PIII800@960 (2000 still have it running on the old BX board from 1998... p2B rulez)

The future??? Deffinetly a T-Bird... The P2 was Ok since I needed the integer performance (3D rendering) which the K6 didn't have. The P3 was only because I couldn't afford a new mobo for a T-Bird *sob*... guess me and my faithful P2B will be together for while longer.
