Well, I broke down and ordered all 3 reports from myfico...I've got a mess on my hands. I've got things on my report that aren't mine, they belong to my parents (my father and I have the same first name & middle initial). These items are driving my credit rating(s) into the crapper b/c it shows me living well beyond my means.

Who was the guy the other day that had 885?
BTW, I have no idea what mine is.
Can you have a credit score if you haven't borrowed in 10-12 years?
You always have a credit score as long as you're alive. 885 is fake because the highest the FICO rating goes is 850.
Back on topic, I have ~775 or so the last time I did a pull.

Dude, you don't have any idea do you? I'm a finance manager at an auto dealership and I see people come in all of the time that don't have credit scores. No credit=no score. We call them ghosts. Also, I see a credit score over 850 about once a month. Your credit score is just the result of a mathematical formula. Theoretically, there are no limits, you could have a credit score of 2000, although I have no idea what it would take to get there. There is no floor, either. Twice I have seen credit scores that were in the 300's. For real world, though, the range is about 425-850. If anyone tells you there is a max or min, they don't really know.

Credit score over 850? Yes. FICO score over 850? No. That's like a 1700 on an SAT - 850 is the max FICO score possible.
You've probably seen some alternative credit score model/algorithm results.

Actually it's like getting a 2500 on the SAT. The SATs go up to 2400 now instead of 1600 if I'm not mistaken.
