756. Have a dozen credit cards, but never had any loans. It's lower than it could be due to longest account being 4.75 years, and lots of inquiries.

EDIT: Age 22.

I bring up an ancient thread and no one answers my question.
Copied here for your enjoyment:

Where can I get a free credit score, delivered online easily?

I tried annualcreditreport.com.
Equifax won't send a report online, only by mail.
Transunion says I'm already in their database, which I didn't know. Trying to retrieve my password results in a "We are unable to assist you" error.
Experian will give an overview of my credit history, but they want money to send me my score.

Annualcreditreport is only for a REPORT not a SCORE. Score will cost extra $$$. I belive if you do it through the website it might be cheaper than doing it through those agency websites.

820 checked today. Can't recall being late with anything, maybe one time by a few days. I'm pretty good with my bills. two CC's, one zero balance one with no balance from month to month.

798 last time I checked. Since then I borrowed $2800 and paid it off in 8 months. I assume it's around 800 now.

I see. Well, the one place there wanted $5.95. The only things there were two credit checks, one most likely for one of my student loans, and one anomaly: A check by Esurance.com. Do they just randomly run credit checks on people? I've never even visited their site.

I've got things on my report that aren't mine, they belong to my parents (my father and I have the same first name & middle initial). These items are driving my credit rating(s) into the crapper b/c it shows me living well beyond my means.
Credit agencies have no idea what your means are. Debt to income doesn't affect credit scores at all.

Nowhere. You can't get your score for free anywhere that I've ever heard of.

Simply having high balances (near the credit limit) can absolutely hammer your score.

I recently paid off everything I owe, except my 2 houses, and the wife's car. I checked my Equifax score before anything got paid off and it was 621.
Note that this 621 score had absolutely no derogs at all. Every single account was paid on time, every time. No collections, no medical charge-offs, nothing derogatory on my report at all...everthing was paid perfectly....yet it was only 621....but had high balances.

Checked it again last week, one month later. All accounts that were paid off reflected such, except 3 or 4 that evidently didn't get reported to the credit bureaus in time.
Equifax: 680
Experian: 734
Trans: 765

When the last accounts show paid off, I expect the Equifax to be in the mid-700's. No idea what the others will be.

That's a plus but I'm still getting boned by all this extra crap on my report.

I'm in the middle of fixing my credit, and I bought a car this year. So it's getting better, it was down to 590.

Hell, my Experian report is down to 543. I printed it out so I could highlight the disputable items...the damn thing is 26 pages and probably only 10 pages of it is stuff that actually belongs on my credit report.

There are coupons floating around if anyone is subscribing to myfico. I signed up when I was buying a house and figure that since the FICO score determins so much as far as the rates I'm offered, that it's probably worth it to keep an eye on it.

778 and climbing!
