Once upon a time I had the lowly Logitech Z-640's but the Sub died (POS System anyway)
So now I have a full stereo system at my desk (I wish there was more selection of Mini/Micro components, Not the POS so called Mini systems *Cough* Aiwa/Sharp *Cough*)
So now from the top of the stack
Kenwood KA-2000 (Circa 1967) I restored it by replacing the two Power Supply Capacitors and cleaning the switches
Sony Compact Disc Player Model CDP-211
Technics Stereo Cassette Deck Model RS-TR232
Ultrx/Sanyo R35 (Only used for the Tuner and the input switcher, as one of the STK Modules is blown So I can only get sound out of the right side)
And most important is the speaker system
I am using a pair of the Insignia (Best Buy) IS-SP3Way
They are decent efficient speakers and I can crank the Kenwood to the Number 4 or 10 o'clock position without distortion
Don't have a Sub but I feel I don't need one (plus in an apartment I don't want one)
Pics will follow
