Switched a 939 pin NF4 SLI board so I could, some day, get a dual core processor and run SLI if I chose to without needing a new board or fresh install. It was time to get a MB solution I wouldn't feel inclined to fiddle with for a couple years so I could get a permanent config going with my audio gear etc.
Wow again. Surely you didn't notice much performance difference?! Just love to upgrade eh?Originally posted by: peleejosh

Indeed it feels nice (in conjunction with going from an athlon xp 1900+ to a p4 3.4; not necessarily amd vs. intel but rather processing power in general). Only a week old so when i'm up and running some "modern" games - HL2 and Far Cry FINALLY!!1, the fun will really kick in! (I know i should have been doing this the very day i received it but been busy with work...aaarrghggh)
