Quite a bit different from Anand's benchies huh? I guess that has to do with my card running at 490/950 for these tests.

Surprise surprise, another rip-off of primarily the Elite series of games and some shades of Star Wars in there also (such as some of the craft shaped like TIE fighters).

Anyway, game looks good, and to be honest if whoever owns Elite doesn't release one then this will have to do. Anyway benchmark numbers:

Yesterday's technology:
Athlon 1.4GHz
Radeon 9000 Pro 64MB
896MB PC133 CAS2 RAM

My CPU and GPU are overclocked. I can run them both faster than I did, for that test though.

Would you mind saying what speed? lol

I ran that at 3.0c@3.6. I can run it stable at 3.825 (255 fsb), however in order to do that, I have to go up to 1.65v. I dont like to go that high. I run 3.6 everyday at 1.5875 volts.

I ran my 9800 Pro at 460/370. I can get it up to 490/411+.

Stable enough to run 3dmark2k3 and submit the results. It artifacts badly when I go over 380 on the ram though. I just wanted to see if I could puch it that far, and it still didnt lock up. I havent tried to go any higher, because it would be moot. The highest artifact free speed I can attain is 480/380. Which is still pretty good I guess.

Well... there's stable and unstable... really isn't any in between =) I've run my FX5900 at 620/1160 but there's TONS of artifacts, and it won't complete benchmarks =)

Like I said, it never did lock up on me, ran the test fine. I didnt do anything else, because there was no point. I could barely see what was on the screen. I suppose if I volt modded it it might be more artifact free, but I am ok with it how it is.

Shouldn't benchmarks be for the highest USEABLE speeds - i.e. stable and usable for gameplay - rather than a corrupted image that is useless for anything other than faking up high bench numbers?

I'm sure you could modify a car to get insanely fast quarter-mile times, but what good is it if the engine is vaporized in the process making it scrap metal. What good is that fast "benchmark" then?

Mine is stable... and the results he gave were at a stable speed to... so... huh?

Try actually READING. I said I ran the test at 460/370, which is my everyday speed. My max artifact speed is 480/380, but I like to run it a tick under that just to be safe.

THEN I said I can run it much higher, but I DONT because it artifacts.

edit for pic in case you still dont understand;
