Anyone with an IBM ATA100 or another hard drive that has a "vent" hole on flat side that gets attached to any HD sink/cooler combo's, watch for that hole. I got me a 3DFXcool hddHO cooler, and now that hole is covered up. I just noticed it "before" I powered it up, fortunately. I am going to drill a hole through the heat sink directly over where the hole lines up so it will breathe. The 3DFXcool site has not mentioned anything about watching out for these "holes". Maybe this IBM model is the only one like that. So check your drive if you use a cooler that mounts directly to the HD that it does not block any vent hole or you could kill your HD.
PS- Not sure this is correct "cooling" forum for this so I will post it elsewhere too.
