My power block for my lcd just went out, the led on it blinks, but that's about it, and it doesn't power the lcd... I look at the specs, and it is 12v, 4.2A
Now, i'm thinking, that's a lot of power, and when I go to fry's and radio shack, that's what they tell too... the max they have is 2.5A for 12v.
so this is my question, will 2.5A be enough for an lcd monitor? I had thought they used less power than this, but i don't want to cut it short...
also, do any of you guys know of a good place for a replacement one? online, B&M, etc. If any of you live in the Austin, TX area, and know of any stores nearby that would sell power blocks of equivalent specs with a plug connector, that would be nice, but i think that may be asking too much...
or just any general suggestions?
thanks!
