Question Power converter specs

Hi everyone,
Imy lilttle brother just bought an old Logitech z5500 sub he loved my old system 10 yrs ago! Problem is is from the UK so voltage isn’t going to work out of the box. Any help on a fix I’m assuming I’d need some converter as the power requirement on sub is 230v 50hrz 1.5amp but I’m not skilled in what to look for. Any solid suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be more clear on what you mean.

What voltage region is the sub in question, designed to operate in?

What voltage region is the sub going to be operated in, instead?

Generally one would just buy a step up or step down transformer, unless the PSU is built into the sub and the label reads that it has a wide input range covering both 110VAC up to 220/240VAC or so. If it has this wide input range then all it needs is a power cord or plug adapter that plugs into the mains wall outlets for that region.

If it has an external power supply then you need a replacement with same output voltage, same or higher current rating, and input voltage rated for the region in which it's used. Since we don't know where this sub will be operated, it is impossible to recommend specific products, not that I'd be able to anyway if not in the US where I have familiarity with suppliers.

Yes, I was a little vague dear sorry it was from the UK and I did figure it out maximum voltage for my item sub 405 for the system so I bought a 2000 V step up transformer. Thanks again for your quick response Dooley 2000.
