I recently setup a friends system with Win 98 SE and he wants the monitor set to shut off after 15 mins but leave all other options(hard disk etc.) set to never shutoff.
When i move the mouse after it has shut off the monitor light goes from flashing(standby) to on (solid) ,it seems to want to start but but i get no video output.
When i look real close the monitor is barely on (screen color is just a little bit iluminated)
I thought it was a video card driver problem so i reinstalled a later driver but it still does the same thing after it shuts off.
Anyone have any ideas, is there a patch for this problem for windows 98?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
