Either way though just because a PSU is rated for 400 watts does'nt mean it can actually deliver it.
None of these PSUs have been tested for maximum output so wether or not the PSU can deliver what its rated for is not known. Again though, these are both top notch PSUs but id still go for the tried and true Enermax over OCZ.
That's why these at-the-wall power consumption numbers are not set in stone. It all depends on what the PSU's efficiency is. That 50W difference in my example is mostly lost as heat, which means the less efficient PSU will need better cooling or lose performance as the temp increases.
Reputable PSU manufacturers will list the rated total power as sustainable and not peak, but I personally wouldn't want to test any PSU's max for very long.
