I hope Im posting this in the right forum. What is PFC on a PSU and why is it good? Im debating between the TT 420 on newegg ($39+free ship) and its twin the TT 420 with "active PFC" (50+6 ship). Would I regret skimping out and going with non-PFC?

I think you'd.... I was going to say you'd regret going with a TT, but odds are you wouldn't.

I would regret going with a TT though.

ive been reading the reviews of TT psu's on newegg.it seems like they are beter than antec. what is pfc used for? what is it lol.

According to a google search, PFC stands for Power Factor Correction. What it does, I don't know but here's a google search on the term Power Factor Correction. Hope this helps.
