Power Supply dead?

Well for some reason my power supply just stopped working. 0 Volt output, fan still on, no burnt smell...any ideas on what to check?

Hmmmm...I was wrong...the fan does not spin

Also, when I connected another powersupply to one of the 5 1/4 power connectors...the attached power supply fan stopped

Any ideas???

ok it was the fuse: Is there any differece between the F/GMA Fast Blow 5 x 20mm 250V 6A and the ACG/3AG 1 1/4"x1/4" Glass Fuses-6.0A 250V?

If your PS blows a fuse odds are good it will blow another one too. Just buy another unit.

Yes there is. The 1 1/4" is 32mm long where as 5x20 is 20mm. One is a miniature fuse and it won't physically fit. Other than that, it is pretty much interchangeable, but you have to do the soldering. Power supplies don't blow fuses unless there is something seriously wrong with it. If you put a new one, it will most likely blow in an instant.
