Huge overkill. 750W and 74 combined amps on +12??!
Not to mention a huge rebate which you may never get...

Not Recommended unless you run two gfx cards, a quad core CPU, about 10 hard drives, all overclocked...

For such a low price and "80 PLUS Certified", there's no reason to cancel your order.
Power supplies degrade over time due to incoming power issues and capacitor aging.
The extra power capacity will serve you for many years to come.

Think of the extra capacity this way...
You're planning a 400 mile trip.
There are no gas stations along the way, what you start with is all you'll have.
Your Dodge Neon averages 35mpg.
Would you rather start the trip with 11.5 gallons of petrol or top the tank off at 12.5?

BTW Cooler Master is very good about their rebates.

I really like FSP stuff but I just bought an EA380 for a small WHS box because of a $30 rebate on the egg. I'm sure it will be decent.

There's better psu's for the same money, or equally good PSU's for less money. Like the antec earthwatts 430w for 30$ AR for example.

Yea, but I liked having the extra wattage. plus for having the MIR and IR it chopped off over a hundred bucks (also including the free shipping)

seemed like a good deal IMO

I ment roguestars suggestion.

I didn't mean the coolermaster real power pro, if you are going to spend 70$ bucks on a PSU, you'd be retarded not to buy that one, it was even going for 50$ AR at some other sites not a week ago. That's only when you don't care about modular btw, but it would be 'dumb' to spend 60-70$ on a corsair 450/550vx, instead of 70$ on the coolermaster real power pro 750w.

when one looks at psu requirements realistically, one would know that the antec ea 380 and 430W (usually $20 or $30AR) units are more than adequate for ~90%+ of the machines, even here
