I got a new "old" case with an Antec PP-303XP power supply. There's a fan lead (I think) with a black and white wire coming out of the PS.
I'm not sure what this is for and if I need to connect it to my motherboard (Asus A7V333). The power supply fan is working of course with this connected. Is this wire just some sort of thermal sensor? If I need to connect it, should I connect it to the PWR_FAN connector or the power supply thermal sensor connector. The pwr supply thermal sensor connector is only 2 pin and the connector out of the power supply is 3 pin (even though there's only 2 wires) so I wouldn't think it goes there. Anyway, as you can see I'm totally confused. I would really appreciate it if someone would clear this up for me. Thanks.
