just spoke with my neighbor who was at lowes this morning. bought a compund miter saw with laser for 39.99 regular price was 89.99...charlotte, nc area

Seems to depend on the store. I chose in-store pickup at one store, and the drill price was $69. Switched to a different store in my area, and it dropped to $29.

In any case, try different stores, and thanks to the poster for this great deal!

just called my friend to find out what kind it is. He couldnt remember and didnt buy one since I told him I had a 10% coupon for him. He did say there were about 20 of them. the box was blue. I was going to go get the sander after work but the traffic was too bad. Ill stop on the way home from golf tommorrow and find out what brand it is.

The unit wasnt mARKED"ON SALE", but the great older rep. that i talked to did say that it was usually twice the 29.99 price.Sorry, but the Firestorm cordless drill sucks goats.P>S, sale goes through Sunday is what the old guy told me.

Man I was looking for a jigsaw just last week. I ended up buying the Skill over the firestorm, but I had seriously considered the FS5500JS. This would have been the deal for me. Oh well now.

Hi, i am taking my orbital sander back. Its really to heavy to use for small quick projects which is what i bought it for. I have plenty of sanders and i just as soon use a regular square sander for the larger projects. The sandpapers a LOT cheaper too.The Firestorm orbital sander is a nice unit though.

I purchased the impact driver for $29 as advertised ... thanks Allisolm. These are not contractor-grade tools like DeWalt and Bosch but they are priced about 75% off the price of them too.

On a side note Lowes had a number of other brand tools on sale as well. Go take a look.

This is YMMV, stopped at local Lowes in Fullerton Cal, no drill things, no good deals otherwise, Home depot was less and apparent accepts lows coupons.
