What if someone matched all the numbers but not in the right order. I.e. the powerball and one of the 5 numbers where switched. That would SUCK!!

Nope. If you mofos win, I'll have to watch you people gloat.

well, I offered ElFenix $1k to pay for a date with TridenT (because he missed the cutoff).

I'll extend the same offer to you. (I'm a nice guy)

that's still $2 million (5 numbers with the powerball). $1 million if you match 5 without powerball.

Or are you saying what if you match the powerball and the other 5, but two of those numbers are directly switched? match 4, basically?

I was wondering what would happen if you bought two tickets, same numbers, and they were both jackpot winners.

that splits the pot an extra way. SO, if there are a total 5 winners, you have 2 shares with identical tickets. You could be a jerk and cash both tickets and get 2 slices, thus lowering the winnings for the other 3 winners, or trash your ticket to make the slices larger for the others (still the same for yourself, no?)
Does it work that way?

Also, what if you get a ticket with the 2 winning numbers printed on the same ticket?
You can't "trash" one of those numbers, right? would PB officials have to accept both of those numbers, thus arbitrarily dividing the pie?

Yeah, I saying match 4 but all 6 of the numbers are the winning numbers. If you have 2 winning tickets you better get twice the money or I would be raising hell. lol

The officials know how many winning tickets are sold. The money is thusly divided up. If someone doesn't claim one of the prizes, the states keep the winnings.
