It runs really hot compared to the reference 7990. Notice how close the GPUs are together on the PCB.

It's definitely inferior to the Malta model. This was put out long before and not done with efficiency in mind at all. Needs more power and the additional slot.

They also have weaker re-sale than the Malta, so if you can use it, then it might be worth it, otherwise, if I needed another 7990, I'd get a Malta version as my case handles them fine.

Looks like a good deal, but I don't believe this card will be WC friendly. The Swiftech Komodo isn't compatible with this card, so that will eliminate it for some folks. All in all, a good price for the performance.
