PowerEdge 400SC can't recognize P4 3.2 EE?

Got a P4 3.2 EE processor, and it works as 3.2 EE on dimension 8300.
But when I put it in to my PowerEdge 400SC, the motherboard only thinks it's a regular p4 3.2, not EE.
It's kind of strange since dimension 8300 and 400sc use similar motherboard.
I've already flashed the BIOS, but no help.

Anyone else has same problem?
Any one has any idea what to do?

Havent' actually tried to use my P4 3.2 EE chip yet, but i've looked into it, and you have to use a Motherboard that supports EE technology...to my knowledge there's only a few out there...the Asus P4P800-E , or the intel one... anyway, my guess is that the 400SC motherboard, just doesn't support the 2mb cache of the EE, that's why it's reading at only the L2 cache 3.2.

I actually thought about it and tried to get the 400sc motherboard information.
It seems that both 400sc and dimension 8300 use intel 875P motherboard, but there might be little difference for them since 400sc has integrated 1T network card/2.1 sound card, while 8300 has integrated 100MB network card and 5.1 sound card. I guess they are different model of 875p.
Intel website says all 875p supports P4 EE, so I don't know what is going on there.

I know that intel says that the 875p supports the EE, but, i still think that the board needs to be specific to support the EE...cause this new new L3 cache, wasn't around for long, and the 400SC, was made too long ago to incoporate this...just my thoughts.
