I posted this in the General Hardware section and someone recommended I try here so let me know what you think.
I'm looking for something with these specs
Under 5 lbs for sure under 4 lbs would be a dream.
13.3" WXGA screen
DVD+/- R/RW
Memory Card Reader (I'd love something with CF, MS, SD and MiniSD, but the SD/MS would be ok)
DVI output
Bluetooth, 802.11n, WiMax, maybe GSM support
100+GB 7200RPM HD
2GB RAM
Dual Core (Turion 64 65nm or Core Duo)
6600GT or something close (Enough to push whatever resolution the display is in games with eye-candy. Probably something later this year or early next year with DX10 support and better support for vista. Also, something that doesn't suck batteries when it isn't chugging away in games. I imagine this will become more common as vista pushes graphics requirements beyond what is common for laptops today.)
Obviously things like 802.11n, WiMax and GSM support which aren't common at all would delay this by quite a bit and especially keep the price in the >$1200 range, so opinions on when something like this will be available both with and without those features would be appreciated.
Edit: Added emphasis on what I'm actually asking about added. I got grilled because this stuff isn't out or cheap right now. That's why I asked for OPINIONS about WHEN it WILL BE available. I wasn't asking where I can go to get this laptop for $1200 today.
