Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

They are individual programs instead of a package now.

Be wary of the Alt-tab replacement though, it doesn't tab through apps like normal alt-tab does. If your used to alt-tabbing the old way, this change will drive you crazy.

Might depend on your computer, the preview loads up/switches instantly for me.

Sorry, no PowerToys for Win 2000. Just for the consumer versions of Windows (95, 98, ME, XP).

Do these new ones work with W2k? The older XP PowerToys worked well with W2k.

OK, anybody has a link to a mirror with older powertools? That would be one hell of a deal. Sux2K works OK for me--don't see a reason to upgrade to SuxXP...

They were pulled because one of the appz gave WinXP Pro login to network powers to WinXP home version, which it wasn't supposed to have (or some feature to that effect; the login thing is what I was told. May be not quite accurate). Microsoft pulled them so there is more of a difference between the OSes.

I haven't tried the XP version yet, but TweakUI was my favorite back in Win98. That power calc looks like a fun toy too. It'll be nice not to reach into my backpack for my graphing calculator when I'm doing homework. Thanks overclock (and Microsoft!).
