Using Sneaky, I am handling 6-8 systems for RC5
Many have talked about using a Personal proxy to interface with their herds.
I may have the opportunity to assimilate more, however, I do not have the time to go after each system and some are not sited in the same building.
Where can I get info on this "great" tool and will it work on w Windows box?
/Edit - Mon AM
Have downloaded the pProxy package and reviewed the helpfile.
Being behind a firewall, I will need to use sneaky to feed the proxy.
(I have tried to get out using the RC5 client to no avail).
I will not get a chance to activate the pProxy until this evening.
A couple of concerns/questions have come up after reviewing the helpfile a couple of times. (I may have missed the answers though)
1) Will the buff-in.rc5 files from sneaky be abled to be put on the pProxy with no problems. Conversely, will the outputs from the pProxy (hopefully buff-out.rc5) be able to be sneaky(ed) to the outside world.
I have not fired up the pProxy yet, therefore I may be jumping the gun.
2) What will I have to to do to the Client configuration files to utilize the pProxy. I am hoping to keep the port numbers to use at the default 1024.
3) Will my pProxy host system also be able to run RC5 client concurrently?
