As far as I can tell, great deal for TCCD RAM. The other PQI pc3200 TCCD set is $249.

I ordered last night and the Egg has it boxed and ready to ship from NJ warehouse. (in step 4) It now shows as out of stock, but ETA date is today, 4/28/2005.

I think it may be typo. This one is single 512MB version of the same memory. It's $ 115 bucks. In other words, for about 3 bucks more, you can get dual channel of it? Honestly, it doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe it's OOS because people like OP bought all the stocks You lucky b@stards! I kinda doubt it will be the same price when Newegg has them back in stock.

Not only is it TCCD, it's built on the Brainpower 808 PCB. (BYOB BBQ.)

I snapped up a pair of sticks last night, and took a time-stamped Acrobat screenshot so it would be at least a little harder for Newegg to weasel out. Turns out I needn't have worried:

Personnally...I think it's high time CAS 2 RAM came down to earth. Even at $117 it's still getting a ~35% price premium to CAS 2.5 memory.

I'm holding out for some 1GB sticks of CAS 2.5 for <$100.00. I don't need to upgrade until I get my price/performance ratio. Mass production of technology sure is GRAND and it will only get better with time.

It's not just CAS2 that makes for the pricing differential. Later TCCD revisions, like these PQI sticks, can often hit nearly DDR600. Check the Anandtech review.

no they are indeed TCCD the 1024DPU model is TCCD. congrats to whoever bought these! I wish I would of bought them but by the time I found out they were OOS

They also had ONE 2x256 kit of TCCD for dirt cheap too. I hate 256 sticks, but it was so cheap I figure I can make a nice profit reselling it, or even use it for benching if I ever get interested in that.


Looks like they're liquidating their stock of PQI, I can't imagine so many pricing errors.
