cat totally looks like it had just woken up from a nap at the start. i guess the wing gets warm enough sitting in the sun that it seemed like a nice place to crawl up to for a catnap.

the look on its face when it realized that it wasnt just wind making all the noise is classic.

hats off to the pilot for keeping it in a left banking turn so there was less chance of the cat falling out.

He could certainly poke holes in it for sure. I'd be making some screen door "doors" to put in the plane when it is on the ground. Let the wind through to keep the heat down, but keep any unwanted creatures out. This was funny but it could have gone very differently. We've all seen vids where a domesticated cat has gone berzerk.

No. Most planes with side by side seating are solo'd from the left seat, so it has made sense to keep patterns left turns. You see right turns only where terrain or noise abatement (not flying over the most populated part of town) require it.
