Man, they just keep upgrading what you get with your pre-order. First it was nothing, a few weeks ago it was $10, now it's $15? Maybe they'll lower the price before release.

Ya never know, Forza just dropped $5 less than a week before release (and with their low price guarantee you get whatever the best deal is).

I'll wait until the PC version drops in price or just borrow it from one of my buddies. I have TF2 to play for multiplayer, which is a lot more fun than realistic shooters. I just want MW2 for the single player. The first one was excellent, but I can't shell out $60 if it's 4-5 hours long.

That's about how long the first one was. I'm not expecting much more in this one. I think they're more dedicated to quality than quantity.

Just fyi, there is no dedicated server support in MW2.... Yup, thats right. Nobody wants to play matchmaking bs. On another note, nobody plays FPS on console either...... I dont know what they are thinking. $60 is no bargain. Who wants to pay $60 to play a game on a matchmaking system....

This is a good FYI for PC gamers since apparently it's a big deal to them. As for the console versions, please don't threadcrap. COD4 was one of the best-selling console games of this generation and CODMW2 will likely sell even more.


UPDATE Apparently Amazon has upped the gift card to $20 to match Walmart. This keeps getting better and better!

I think a lot of Halo players would disagree with you. But I personally think FPS games on consoles are not ideal, but that may be because I'm accustomed to using a keyboard and mouse for playing FPS games.

I think the matchmaking feature works pretty well for consoles, but I think PC users are used to and like having the ability to connect to private or specific public servers.
