Just thought I would point this out. You can pre-order "The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers" Platinum Special Extended Edition at Amazon.com for $25.99 with free shipping. They also have the "Collector's Edition" for $54.99. They state that they will ship it once they recieve the product on or around Nov. 18 (the release date). When I pre-ordered the last one through them, it actually came the day before the official release date.

dangit. feature on discs 1-2 again. if they can fit Titanic on one side, why can't they fit LOTR extended versions (FOTR and TTT) on just one side? one big reason for moving from LD to DVD was to escape changing the discs halfway through a movie.

I think the DTS track takes up a whole lot of room, and people would pitch a fit if they couldn't watch in DTS.

Deja vu... were you the one who asked the exact same question about the first one? Titanic was MUCH worse quality, and didn't have 4 optional commentary tracks. It wouldn't make much sense to have the commentary tracks on a seperate disc, would it? ^^
