Mine also says "Processing". But, according to my bank it looks like they have charged my CC. Maybe they don't update their site very often. Anybody else that ordered have a different status?

I went ahead a placed an order yesterday evening. It still says processing. Hopefully I won't run into any bad experiences with my unit.

I ordered mine Sunday, i figured it would go out on Monday..I called and they told me that it would go out Tuesday. However, it still hasn't been shipped yet..I guess we overwhelmed them with all the orders, but if mine isn't shipped by the end of the day(Wednesday), i'm giving them hell and demanding they wave the shipping.

Apparently the phone number with my Credit Card company was wrong so gamestop.com emailed me about it. Pretty impressive considering my phone number has been different for over a year and a half and they are the first people to catch it. I emailed them back. but I haven't heard whether my order is going through yet.

Just got mine. Here's a quick rundown (cause I want to play GTA3)

The unit itself looks used, there's a couple scuff marks on it. Nothing bad, especially because my DC is sitting on it, you can't even see them. Some Armor All might fix that.

Comes with a controller, AV cable, and the two games. The games are in DVD cases, with everything. GTA3 works fine, I haven't tried MGS2 yet.

Everything was shrinkwrapped (except for the games), there was little packing material in the box itself, so BE CAREFUL carrying it in.

But now I'm going to play GTA3. I have old ladies to beat.

Well, I just received my order today. Here's a run-down:

Unit arrived with very little packing material, but overall everything looked good. The PS2 has a few scuffs, but nothing major. Both games came in orginal cases with instructions. Played both MGS2 and GTA3 and both worked flawless. I'm very pleased so far. Enjoy!!

Can you guys/gals post the model #s of the PS2 systems you recieved. (its in back of the system SCPH- ) Does it have an R behind the model #? Just wondering if the PS2 systems they are shipping are all v5/6(newer version). Thanks

Mine is a 30001 model. No R designation, I hope that doesn't mean my laser will die in 3 months

I found this site that may help to figure out which version PS2 you have. I have a V4.

Which version do you have?

the model number determines in which way you'll have to modify it if you choose to do so.....i'm hoping for a v5,v6

I received mine today, the PS2 itself was in like-new shape, but GTA3 was a little scratched up, i had to clean it to get it to work, everything else seem fine, I received the 30001-R model (V5). I hope everyone elses came in as good shape...and if this thing dies, i have a friend at customer service at Walmart

and those dumb idiots sent me the wrong AV cable...does not FIT!!!...fvckers.
i have to call them tomorrow...piss me off. must be from diff version.

and the packing loooked like it was done by quasimodo...friggin dump it into a grocery box and add 4 pieces of
toilet paper for cushion.

GTA3 and MGS2 box looked beatup but dvds were almost scratchless.
But, MGS2 has no damn instruction manual! Anyone nice enough to send me one?(photo copy?)...pls pm. Thanks.

I got mine in on wed but i've been playing GTA 3 nonstop hehehe. The packaging really sucked but everything came in good. No scratches on either cd, there's a hole in the plastic film cover on GTA 3, but nothing big. The ps2 itself is in good condition, few white marks but just wiped it off. i think i got a 3500 also

Update[/b: Ok, i'm appeased. I called and they told me to just go buy one from a store and they will credit my CC back
for the amount of the AV cable. Not bad...and they told me to just dump the 'wrong' one.
